my first lace scarf

Here is a lace scarf I finished a few weeks ago, made from Noro Kureyon in colourway #188, at least I think that's right. Very pretty stuff.

That's pretty much it for now, I hope I haven't bored you too much!

Too bad about not selling the house yet. Hopefully as the summer season commences you will get it off your hands. It can be so stressful.

The scarf is so pretty!

Heidi,

I am not very with it with the blog scene, but I'm trying to follow up on your Rebecca Wrap project. Have you gotten started on it? This sweater is beautiful, but I am interested specifically because I have been attempting a project that uses Fisherman's Rib.

I looked at the tutorial you gave a link to and the finished product looks about like what I am doing but is done a totally different way. I tried the one you had and found it difficult.

I am an experienced knitter but the Fisherman's Rib has about got me beat. I just ripped out the start I had made on my project (a baby sweater). The difficulty I'm finding is that if I make a mistake I can't figure out how to fix it. :-( I asked a friend who knows even more than I do and she advised, "Don't make any mistakes." That's easy for her to say. LOL I thought maybe I could do that but somehow I made a mistake and can't figure out how to fix it.

When you get into this project, I'd be very interested to know how you get on with it. Can you figure out how to fix an error in this type of Fisherman's Rib?

You could e-mail me if that is a possibility. Good luck. I enjoy your blog and looked at your daughter's blog too. Good work! Merigold

Merigold, I hope you catch my response here. I haven't started the Rebecca Wrap yet. Oh boy am I ever intimidated!!

If you read this, e-mail me privately (should be in my blogger profile), and I'll make a note to get in touch with you once I start it. It may not be for awhile though.

Let's hope we can get through it!!

I love dogs I have a siberian husky pup and it lays out in the garden for hours she has her own garden cushions and no one else is allowed to sit on them but her, she gets quite huffy if you sit in her spot and tries to push you away with her little snout.
