The day we've been waiting for has finally arrived!! Last night our house was sold to a lovely couple who are very excited to be getting our house. Apparently another offer was coming in right after they made the offer, I guess the market is hot right now. But I'm happy for this couple, they said they knew they loved it as soon as they walked in the door. They had planned on buying their dream house in about 5 years and find some other house in the meantime. Then they found ours and skipped ahead to what they see as their dream spot. We shouldn't even know all this stuff, but Jon ended up meeting them when they had a question about the property markers.It feels good to be leaving a house that we designed to someone who will really appreciate it. I hope they enjoy discovering that you can hear the ocean surf all year long when the bay decides to be noiser than usual.
We were all quite hyper last night, hardly slept, we're all too happy and relieved. We've had our house on the market off and on for the last 18 months!
I'm really busy making bags for a studio/shop in PEI, and that project has only just begun. Not much time for blogging these days. I'll be making bags between packing. Hoping for a quiet autumn though!

Hi Shelley, thanks! Yes, we're just moving out of the city and into one of the towns about 20 minutes down the highway.
We need to find a house though, so far there's been nothing, but at least now we can jump at a house with a firm offer. I hope we find something soon! Eeeek!
